Swaps
A swap from the Safe, quoted live, simulated, and proposed like any other transaction.
What it does
From a Safe you can swap one token for another on the same chain, or move a token to another chain. A same-chain swap is a CoW Swap order. A cross-chain move goes through Across. Either way the result is an ordinary Safe transaction: quoted, simulated, proposed, signed by the owners, executed.
What could go wrong without it
A treasury that cannot swap from the Safe swaps from someone's wallet, and the money leaves the multisig to do it. The alternative is a hand-built batch of approve and swap calls, where the slippage and the deadline are typed by a person.
What you see in the app
The quote refreshes every 15 seconds while you look at it. When it expires the screen says "Expired — press Refresh for a price this Safe can be asked to sign", and Propose does nothing until you do. The quote shows the venue's own costs and a "Tamias fee" row that reads 0%.

The batch is simulated before anyone signs. If a call would revert, the screen says which one and why, and adds "Nothing was signed."
Executing a same-chain swap does not fill it. It makes the order fillable, and a CoW solver fills it within 24 hours or it expires. Before the last signature executes with sponsored gas, the order is priced again. If the market has moved more than 1% past the order's price, execution stops and you are told that re-pricing means a new order and a new round of signatures.
Slippage is fixed at 0.5%. The side you typed is exact. The other side gets a floor if you are selling and a cap if you are buying.
What it does not do
Swaps are not available on every chain Tamias runs on. On a chain without a venue the screen says "Swaps aren't available on this chain." You can sell anything the Safe holds, but you can only buy tokens on the verified list.
A same-chain swap grants CoW's vault an unlimited allowance for the sold token, added only when the current allowance is short.
A swap made here is not a workflow step. A swap recorded through the Recorder on a venue the app can re-quote is.
